  • How to use route commit (CFB and Madden):
Here’s how to pull up the adjustment: Triangle/Y X/A The button of the player you want to use route commit on Left stick to the side you want to route commit How route commit works - You pick if you want to route commit inside or outside. If you pick wrong then your player will get fried in man badly. For example, if I route commit a player inside and that player runs a corner then the defensive player should be nowhere close to the offensive player. Route commit is like shading but route commit is way more aggressive. Route commit doesn’t work at a 100 percent rate but it does give you a greater chance at caging a route. How to use route commit effectively - First, you want to be able to guess your opponent's plays and or routes correctly. If you are able to do that then you will be able to abuse this feature. Second, you want to be manning up the player you are route committing. Man is how you are able to cage that player on their route. Man press is more effective because they jam which makes it harder for the offensive player to get open. You can route commit any route but I mainly use it for corners and crossing routes. Those routes are usually the offensive player's best route/main player on the field so it is best to try and take them away.
  • How to lock your user (CFB and Madden)
In the past games you were able to hold down on the left stick and your user wouldn’t run offsides. This allowed you to line up close to the oline to do things like engaging with one of them to help a blitz and hovering over an olinemen to distract them for a blitz. Now you just run offsides. To stop that, hold down L2/LT once your user is in the correct spot then hold down the left stick if you want to engage.
  • How to save your depth charts on CFB:
Home menu Go to the “Create and Share” tab Go to “Rosters” Go to “Order Depth Chart” Set the depth charts for any teams you want to use and can do as many as you want Back out to the "Create and Share” tab Press “Manage Files” Press “Save Files” Under the “Profile” tab press X/A on the “College” file then move up and press yes to overwrite that file Under the “Roster” tab press X/A on the “Official” file then move up and press yes to overwrite that file Press Circle/B and yes to exit out and now the depth charts are saved Everytime you get on the game you have to load the saved file of your depth chart to use them Go to “Create and Share” tab “Manage Files” “Load and Delete Files “Roster” file tba Press X/A on the “Official” tab and press yes to load the file Then back out and you will have you depth charts You will have to repeat this process every roster update. The roster updates reset your depth charts since rosters have changed so look out for when those happen
  • How to get extra hot routes on every player
  • How to make your RPOs better (CFB and Madden)
In both games they have added to where you can make hot routes on RPO plays. You can only hot route players that are running routes in the playart, can’t hot route a blocker. Good ways to use this feature
  • How/when to use the new zone stem feature (CFB and Madden)
Here’s how to pull up the adjustment for LBs and DBs: LBs - Press right on the DPAD twice, press the button of the LB that you want to adjust, press L1/LB, then move the left stick up/down to move the depth of the zone DBs - Press Triangle/Y twice, press the button of the DB that you want to adjust, press L1/LB, then move the left stick up/down to move the depth of the zone. When to use zone stem: Your opponent no huddles and you don’t like the depths of your zone drops so you zone stem to move those players to the spots you want them to play Your opponent no huddles while you have no zone drops set and you want your zones to play a certain depth on that play You want your deep blue zones to play a certain depth
  • How to cancel someone's challenge (CFB)
Call timeout so your opponent can’t challenge the play. A booth review can still happen but it will lock your opponents challenge tab. (Banned in competitive settings)
  • How to use the new safety alignment coach settings
  • How to switch stick in a blitz angle (CFB and Madden)
You are now able to switch stick in a blitz angle. Press the DPAD button of the direct you want to switch on to. Once you do that you are to go back to switching on the stick since it will take you to a zone but you can also keep switching with the DPAD if you would like. Some players may use controllers like battlebeavers, scufs, xbox elite and dual sense edge to have paddles on the back of your controller and you can have those paddles be set to as your DPAD which may be easier for you to switch stick with if you use any of those type of controllers. They got rid of pressing Circle/B on a blitzer to get off of them when you get stuck on the DL so make sure to get used to using the DPAD for those situations.
  • How to get a semi base align (CFB)
With the base align feature being out of the game it is sometimes very annoying to have players lineup in their stock spots on certain plays. With this trick you are able to move some players into almost base aligned like spots. Here’s how to do that trick - Turn off “Defensive Motion Response” in your coach adjustments Come out in the play you want to call At the start of the play, flip the play. Square/X then R2/RT Call the play set to the opposite side of the playart if you want the play/playart to look a certain way and want to do this trick. For example if you want your slot corner in a nickel set to be on the right but want to do this trick, call the play with your slot corner on the left then once in the play, flip so he can be on the right Here’s a video from the “Dime 2-3 Odd Mini Scheme” under the tips section showing how to do it and how it looks once done
  • How/best way to use gadget players (CFB and Madden)
The depth charts have changed in both games this year. They have added a spot named “GAD” for the gadget. You can put any HB, WR, or FB there. Every formation has gained packages for your gadget player. The main one is “Gadget at HB”. Here’s how to abuse the gadget player - In CFB put your fastest player/player with abilities like shifty at that spot and use him for things like wildcat or other glitchy runs Put a WR at the gadget spot to have one in the backfield to have your “HB” run better routes and you can motion them out to basically make a formation like bunch have 4 WRs You can change your audibles. Formation audibles are based on the personnel on the field. A formation like “Split Close” may be 2 WRs, 2 HBs, and 1 TE. Use the “Gadget at HB” package to get a WR at HB and now you have changed your formation audibles to 3 WRs, 1HB, and 1 TE
  • Best way to use the new Option/Pitch/RPO coach settings (CFB and Madden)
Option Read Key - Conservative to play the QB on read options Option Pitch Key - Aggressive to play the pitch on speed options RPO Read Key - Conservative to stop the QB from keeping the ball and running on a RPO read RPO Pass Key - Conservative to stop the pass on plays like “RPO Read Flat”
  • New pass protection features (CFB and Madden)
  • How to use stunts (CFB and Madden):
Here’s how to pull up the stunts: Left on the DPAD R1/RB Left/right on the DPAD to scroll through the stunts Press the button of the stunt you want OR Hold down the button of the play you want to call until the stunt list pulls up Use the left stick or down on the DPAD to scroll thought the list of stunts while still holding the button of the play you want to call Let go of the button of the play you are calling once you are on the stunt you want to use
